A question I often get asked from clients who’ve just had a short sale is, “When can I buy again?” Today I’ve brought in Tom Ross, a loan officer from Nova Home Loans, to help answer that. For the most part, your waiting period depends on what kind of financing you’re looking to obtain. For example, conventional loans—meaning anything less than $417,000—require a four-year waiting period. To know more about how long you must wait before buying again after a short sale, watch this short video.
